this might be the thing that gets THIS lifelong windows, and at times Unix/Linux, user to finally purchase a Mac. If it happens I might have to get one.

You can use Unix on the Mac to do all sorts of stuff, Joel! Of course I don't know what, but... all kinds of stuff!
