Move Over Pierogi, Here Come the Bagles

POST #    2093

Not only do we have a T-Mobile, but it looks like some bagels are coming to Greenpoint. I, for one, welcome them. Especially since the bagel place on the corner of Meserole and Manhattan is horrible. I also think they should keep the canopy and name of the previous occupant.

I can't live without bagels.

not just bagels - bagels whose prices aren't inflated by lawyers! I agree with keeping the canopy!!

i am tired of having to keep them in the freezer or run down to bedford

We already have bagels in Greenpoint. Try the Peter Pan bakery on Manhattan, or the Garden (also on Manhattan).

I agree with Bagel Eater....Peter Pan. and...there's a couple of really sweet polish girls in there worth meeting....

Peter Pan is hands down the best doughnuts in the City. Bagels are delish. But for croissants, try the Polish bakery (name escapes me) to the left of the Citibank further west on Manhattan ave.

yeah, i like the ham and swiss croissant at the polish bakery.

I also highly recommend Serena on Norman at the corner of Humboldt. SURPRISINGLY good everything bagels, and other delectable Slavic sweets. And the polish girls are dope.

those might be good bagels if you didn't grow up teething on real nyc bagels. *shaking head* the garden is okay if you get there early... but just okay.

peter pan's doughnuts, however, i agree. dope.
