The Sofa King Hates the Game
I never thought I would see a vanity plate as a store sign, but last Friday, I did. What the store was, I'm not sure. I'm not even sure there was a store. But it's clear that someone hates the game, no? Enough to get a ladder or hang out a window and then write the hilarious message in the 2nd photo.

sofa king = midnight swim
that line is on the last MF Doom / Danger Mouse album, entitled of course Danger Doom.

There's a Scottish furniture store that was actually called Sofa King and ran ads with the line "Our prices are Sofa King low!". They had to pull the ads, but got tons of publicity for it.

The sign's been up for a while, and I believe the front and the back go together (though I have no earthly idea how). There's an art exhibit space in that building that's rarely open.

Back in high school we loved to write down goofy fake names on the attendance sheet in order to get the substitute teachers to say something silly out loud.
For example, "Bed Dover". Reading the above sign out loud results in, I am so f_cking retarded. Chuckle. Chuckle.
