A Tisket, a Tasket, a Mort in a Basket

POST #    1981

Before Mortimer moved up here to the big city, he had a little bed that he would hang out in all the time. And by bed, I mean a basket that was lined with a blanket-like object. Once he moved here, he took to sleeping on one of the couches or the chair and at night sleeping in the bed, but not his old basket. Recently though, Shannan bought another basket for all her winter gloves/hats/scarves, which Mort quickly took to. And that's become his new bed. When in doubt, Mort is no longer just "under the bed" but probably hanging out in his basket.

Does Shannan now use Mort's old bed for the hats and scarves et al?

This is my first visit to your site (via a post of yours on SliceNYC). I was pleasantly surprised to find this shot of your excellent cat! Mortimer has a skeptical cast to his features in this post, as though you're trying to convince him to return to his old basket. Wonderful pic!
