Skywriting Over Brooklyn

POST #    1811

It seemed like it was a bit windy to have the message up too long. I don't even know what it was for.

I'm telling you, it was THE ULTIMATE BLING BLING. Too bad I didn't catch what the site was.

there was some phone number that a cop actually called, but it was busy.

I was wandering in circles around the middle of mcgolrick park trying to read the whole thing (apparantly I was the only person to notice the skywriting as everyone around me just looked at me like I was an idiot...) It did indeed say "The Ultimate Bling Bling" I read that clear as day at least twice, and we did get the phone number (also got a busy signal) but the site url never did show up. I think it was like smanfurs.com, but that's not right.

Quite the waste of money, though I had fun...

Did anyone figure out what this was about? We saw it today walking in Brooklyn, "The Ultimate Bling Bling" and then something like sol, but it could have been numbers. Very mysterious.

I saw this on Weds 9/19/07 while driving from Queens to Manhattan. It was square above LIC! I read the same thing... "THE ULTIMATE bLING bLING" and then what looked like a dot-com site.... solaefra was what I thought it looked like, but googled turned up nothing. I also saw what looked like "THE UN FOR TAIWAN" on the same message...
