Late Night Pastrami

POST #    1604

A late night trip to Katz's Delicatessen probably isn't the best idea in the world, but when you're on the Lower East Side, you're a little drunk, and have yet to eat dinner, it might be one of the best ideas out there. Besides, I'm sure that I've slept off all the calories. It should be noted (for my future reference) that they close at 10 on Monday and Tuesdays, 11 on Wednesday and Thursday, and 3 on Friday and Saturday. Mmm...tasty, tasty pastrami. To think that some people have lived in New York for an extended period of time and not been to Katz's. For shame, for shame.

Good god, you ate pastrami late at night? I'm feeling the heartburn as I type this.

dude, i hope that wasnt originally a sandwich?!?!?! if it was, you must had done something to completely mangle it. must had been your animalistic qualities.

That must've been one fitful sleep to work off all those calories.

What's better than pastrami, man? Nearly nothing.

twas indeed a sandwich, which did not attack me with heartburn. just extreme thirst in the morning, which might have been the beers acting together with the tasty, tasty meat.

I knew you'd head over there -- you had that devilish look in your eyes when you mentioned it.
