Who Needs Laundry Money?

I spent a lot of my night yesterday putting loose quarters into nice and tidy rolls. How fun! It's one of my responsibilities for my building and the first time I'm actually rolling the quarters. When I emptied the washer and dryers, they were actually overflowing with change. So much so that you couldn't even put money into the machine anymore.
If there is anyone wants to trade some $10 bills for some rolls of quarters, that would make bringing these to the bank a little easier. I've done over 40 rolls so far and think I can get to at least 55. Pity that I have my own washer and dryer, otherwise I would never have to scrounge for quarters again. Of course, these aren't quite as cool as having this - also not really mine.

Um, coinstar?

coinstar takes almost 9% of the money. and at this rate, that would be at least $60.

if you take your money(coinage)to a commerce bank branch, they have a machine where they'll count it for free...simply pour your change into the machine's hopper and a receipt will print out...walk over to the teller and you can redeem it for cash...and you DON'T have to be a account holder

no, I've been using the coin-counting service for years before I decided to open an account there...and that was simply for the free gift I got (krups waffle iron)...

Don't you need a sock full of quarters for upcoming rumbles?

i agree on the commerce bank penny arcade. i love it.
i also love how you say "pity i have my own washer and dryer"... yeah pity pity! :p
my building uses laundry debit cards. it's better than having to collect quarters.

As a person without a washer and dryer (nor nearby parents) I'm sorry to say, but I consider that photo to be porn... lovely, lovely porn, and I'm drooling.

at commerce bank, before you put your money into the machine, you can take a guess on how much you're putting in. If you're close, you win a "free gift": a red plastic bank in the shape of a C.
when I was there, a guy was ahead of me dumping coins in. his tally was over $1,000! it was from a business, though, not his piggy bank.
