Plain Tasty Things From Last Night

POST #    1588

Sometimes dinner has got to be about the simpler things. You can't eat fancy food or pizza every night, so last night, I made myself dinner. Well, not really dinner. I kind of just had tuna fish sandwiches and chips. But that were tasteee because they contained things that I just love.

- I love mayo. I don't think I could eat a tuna fish sandwich if there was no mayonnaise in it. And mayo really makes almost every sandwich better. Ham, turkey, tuna. They all need mayo. The only think mayo doesn't really work on is a hot sandwich...unless it does...hmm...

- Sesame seeds have got to be one of the best edible seeds out there. They provide a great flavor to so many things I enjoy. Good thing I'm not allergic. Those tasty Stella Doro sesame seed breadsticks are soo good. And the best part, there are lots of sesame seeds left for enjoyment. Sadly, the only sesame seeds I had were on the toast that I had my tuna on.

- The last tasty thing I had last night were Baked! Lays. So good. So crunchy. The only problem is that the original flavor might be a bit tasteless. No worries though, because they seemed to be coated in salt, making them quite tasty.

Mayo, sesame seeds, Baked! Lays. Perfect combo.

Ick. Mayonnaise. That's one of the few foods that makes me gag. Mustard is where it's at. Or, for compromise, Dijonnaise is pretty good. (Aioli takes the cake though!)

Jack in the Box puts a little mayo on some of their burgers next to the cheese, and the cheese melts and mingles with the mango into this creamy awesomeness. So sometimes it does work on hot sandwiches!

Hmm, I had tuna sandwich with chips for dinner last night too. Mixed a little jalapeno mustard in with the mayo though and the chips were dill pickle.
