The Buffet at the Bellagio

The buffet at the Bellagio in Las Vegas isn't exactly your Old Country Buffet. You know, I'm actually a little disappointed in myself, I didn't eat nearly enough food. I blame the lack of pizza when I went up to get some.

But you ate that much!!!!!

The food was great, but I think I am going to try to avoid buffets in the future. I always end up eating way more than I should, and feel sick afterward. At $33 including tip, that wasn't a cheap buffet either.

What's the dish on the bottom right?
I'm glad you're watching what you eat, Tien! Nobody likes clogged arteries!

the dish on the bottom right is creme brulée.
besides, i noted on flickr that i had green in my diet.

While some might feel this is a lot of food, I'm actually disappointed in you as well, Tien. Crab legs - filling, but not that filling. Fruit? Come on. Where's the huge leg of lamb? Or the whole lobster? Or an entire cake?

i know. i'm disappointed too. i could have done better. for the record, they didn't have legs of lamb and i hate lamb. they also didn't have lobster.

Is that $33 total? Or $33 a head?

I think a lot of people try to "stick it to the casino" at the buffet... but are usually let down. The house wins again.

i suspect that's $33/head.
i'm glad to see there weren't too many carbs on your plate, tien. my strategy at buffets is to stick to meats and seafood. i can never eat enough to justify the cost, though!

the house always wins.

and the buffet was per person. in the high 20s, i believe.
