DUMBO Holiday Party

POST #    1469

Last night, Halo invited me to the All DUMBO Holiday Party that Two Trees hosted for the neighborhood. Catered by Rice with free drink, free food and live music, you couldn't possibly go wrong. Unless of course, you froze from the temperatures. Youngna and Jesse also stopped in to enjoy the goodness.

Possibly the best part of the whole thing was the dessert. Brownies, a variety of rice krispy treats, including mint chocolate chip (which I'm not a huge fan of), and a delicious custard that tasted kind of like yogurt. Also, they had plenty of those lovely Rice containers with rice krispy treats in them. Somehow, I have four at home right now. No sign of the condiment containers though.

I love those little rice crispie containers. Custard that tasted like yogurt? Ick.

whether or not it was actually yogurt flavored is a matter of debate. it only had a slight yogurt flavor.

that food was soooo deliciously yummy. i have my rice krispies container with me now. eating them will be the highlight of the day.

sidenote: is there some "official
spelling of rice krispies? (krispy? crispie?) You and corie spelled it differently.

i am correct, as the brand is actually rice krispies. see their site.

Two trees is really pulling out all the stops for Dumbo. I got a letter in the mail the other day about their new gallery they are opening.

Looks like a really tasty party. I need to get some solid holiday food eating in before the New Year.
