Might This be the Culprit?
So it looks like this pipe might be the issue that's been causing my problems. It's also possible that the water is coming from underneath the drainage area outside the window. We'll have to flood the drain to test it out. Things would be so much easier if it really were the pipe. That wall almost looks like an excavation site or something. Dram. The only plus side I can see to all this is having another party when my apartment is fixed.
Sorry for the boringness as of late, but I'm busy, tired, and...tired. Yikes.

if there were rats in that area, they would already be in my apartment.
i'm more worried about other bugs. good thing we're getting some pest control action this weekend.

Wow, talk about raining on your parade. Sorry you've been having so much trouble with your new place. Hopefully the culprit has been identified and can be fixed.
If not, can I schedule some 'open ice' time for my hockey club this winter? We need the practice.

rats are bad, but i'd take a few rats over the mold problem that developed from my place flooding anyday. cross your fingers!

Duuuuuuude,
This is a great opportunity for you to whip up a Tien Time Capsule and seal it in the wall. Then future generations of apartment repair people will know what it was like to be a Tien in 2004.
