Chocolate's Tasty Companion - Peanut Butter

I'm not sure M&M's Minis really had to be combined with a chocolate bar in the first place, since they were so good already, but M&M has done the same with peanut butter Minis to make the Peanut Butter M-Azing. I don't really love peanut butter M&M's, but when in mini form and combined with chocolate, I like them a lot more. It's obviously a lot less chocolate than the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, which I love (hmm, as I typed that, my eyes got larger), and much more chocolate than Reese's Pieces, which I don't really like. It's a very subtle peanut butter flavor, which is nice. I'll attribute that to the fact that they are mini M&M's.

I like RPCs better than RPs, but I have to say that the little ones are fun on ice cream. I also like to eat the candy shells off of them and then just enjoy the PB. But that's just me. They need to invent a peanut butter cup BAR.

Tien, I love your food commentary especially the pizza bits, but I must say I disagree with your glowing review of the chocolate bar with M&Ms. I was so excited to go out and try one last week after I read your review, and the chocolate was like plastic nasty. Otherwise, I do love your site. And I do love Reese's Pieces. And cookies made with M&Ms. But not the chocolate bar. It's when two great tastes don't go great together. But that's the great thing about blogging! Thanks for your excellent site.

I did love the M-Amzing concept though, and I think that's why I was so exciting. Very anti-climatic.
I wish I lived in NYC for all the delightful pizza that I see on your blog... my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Time for lunch!

jenn, i too loved the concept, and i loved the crunchy shells. damn, now i want pizza.
