Bruster's Ice Cream - Taaasty!

POST #    1208

What's better than ice cream? Freshly made ice cream! And that's exactly what they have at Bruster's Ice Cream.

I mean, their about page explains it all:

At Bruster’s, we believe that ice cream is one of life’s great simple pleasures. It gives us a chance to slow down, appreciate the good things, and enjoy a quiet moment with the people we hold close.

Ice cream is many things really… a well deserved reward, a spontaneous treat, a secret indulgence, a happy celebration, or just plain fun. Ice cream erases our worries, and no matter what our age, always brings a smile to our face – like magic.

They make their ice cream fresh every morning, and supposedly make their waffle cones every day too. It was certainly delicious. Their flavors may vary based on the season though. One of the flavors in season now is Peach, which actually tastes like...peach. I had the pistachio, since it is my favorite flavor. I could even taste a hint of salt on the nuts in the ice cream. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

The best thing about moving to Boston so far has been the ice cream. Granted, I haven't had that much of it yet, trying to be a good boy and all, but who can complain when you have what the New York Times once called "The World's Best Ice Cream" - Toscanini's. Then there's JP Licks. And finally, Emack and Bolio's. They have a rice-krispie-treat encrusted waffle cone at Emack & Bolio's. Lucky for you guys, this Boston treasure has two NYC locations. :-)
