Mmm...More Beer Garden
What's better than sitting outside drinking beer on a nice day? Nothing. Yesterday, I went to the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden in Astoria with Jeannette, Yvan, Eleanor, Christina and Laren.
I previously went in May, making this my second trip. Last time, I had a burger off their grill, but this time I tried the kielbasa, which was delicious. Mmm.
I guess I could have a beer at home and find some Polish kielbasa in Greenpoint, but then I wouldn't be sitting outside, would I?

OMG!!!!!!!!! I just woke up, and I'm starving. What's that last thing?

ah yes, i failed to describe what they all were. the second one was a pork-cutlet covered with potatoes in a potato pancake fashion. the last picture is a crepe filled with a minimal amount of jam.

WTF?! A pork-cutlet in a potato pancake? That's sheer genius. Tien: You have to have a beer garden next Saturday so I can eat that.

omg - i just had the spiciest thai instant noodles. i have the worst heartburn. and looking at those pics is giving me more heartburn. ooog.
tien - you are the mack-daddy of these food field trips. i love that. :)
p.s. i had the pierogis and knedle (dumplings) with mushroom gravy. YUMMM. kielbasa were good, palacinka were "eh", and the pork prague i didn't even try b/c i was too full already.

jeannette - i'm not sure if i've ever been the mack daddy of anything before, so thanks.
and i'm going to say that the kielbasa gave me some wicked gas.
