First Mets Game of Season
Sadly, last night was my first Mets game of the season, which I went to with Shannan, Dahlia and Sam. I guess first games come in late May when you no longer have season tickets. No matter, it was fun anyway. And...the Mets won 9-7. There were multiple hot dogs consumed by all and it was a grand ole time. I might have had the most fun when I stepped on my peanut shells though. Damn, I love that.
Braden Looper, the Mets closer, gave up his first runs of the year, as he blew the save opportunity in the 9th.

Hot dogs!? How could you pass up that delicious pizza they have on offer there? I like that picture of the peanut shells. That's what my underseat looked like on Tuesday.

Cosmic-- I was at my first baseball game of the season on Saturday night, as well. Except, um, that I was in Cincinnati and trying to figure out what team to route for-- the Reds or the Astros. My final conclusion-- who cares? If they're not the Yankees, what's the point?

so at the reds game, did you consume lots of hot dogs too?
don't you mean, who to cheer against and if it's not the yankees, what's the point?

sadly, no hot dogs. i did eat nearly an entire tub of popcorn, though...and a drank a lot of beer.
i couldn't figure out who i should actually cheer for. i wound up just going with the reds. i don't generally pay attention to the national league.

no hot dogs? for shame! when it doubt, it's usually good to cheer for the home team, unless you hate them, of course.
