Because You Can Never Have Enough
Kitchen, now with some cabinets.
Cabinet details.
Bedroom closet. To be stained to match trim.
I know, you guys can't get enough of this apartment coverage. It's just so much fun, isn't it? Think of it this way, it's like Martha Stewart without the insider trading and the design instincts. I'm just not sure what that leaves you with.
As you can see above, the kitchen and bedroom have made a fair amount of progress since Saturday but not that much since Monday. Hopefully when I take another look on Friday, the cabinets will all be up. I know, you wait with bated breath.

it seems really cool to start from scratch.
i am so annoyed with doors that won't close properly because there's like 20 layers of paint on them.
my kitchen has been at a complete standstill for what seems like months. must. finish.

oh yeah, janelle, there is so much stuff to do for the apartment, and to think that my mom was doing most of it before. what a pain.
el, it's cool, but also frustrating. hopefully there will never be 20 layers of pain on my cabinets. that would just be a shame.

hmm, housewarming party a month or two after i move? whenever that is.
i would think chef boyardee would be better. of course, he doesn't really cook, so it works out.

I'm so jealous that you get to pick out all your own cabinets and such. My kitchen and bath are just new enough that I can't see replacing them, yet. So I'm stuck with rose-pink counters in the kitchen and a bathroom vanity that seems to take up the whole room. Someday...
