Satan's Laundromat Walk 1 - DUMBO/Vinegar Hill

Saturday afternoon, Mike from Satan's Laundromat led a walk around Brooklyn. I'm fuzzy on the exact areas covered, but for now, I'll say they were DUMBO, Vinegar Hill, areas around the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and south Williamsburg. Some of the walk covered areas that I walked during Forgotten NY's Brooklyn Between the Bridges tour, which covered DUMBO and Vinegar Hill.
It was quite a long walk, and I ended up with a few pictures that I'll share over the next three days. A special thanks to Mike for taking the time and making the effort to lead the walk.

Interesting Tien. this shows how far you are willing to go to get pictures and stories for your website, since I know that you are not someone who likes to walk a lot!

well, i don't generally like walking if it's too hot out. otherwise, i'm okay with it. i just have feet that start to hurt after a while. i think mike said the walk was about 3 miles long. i was in a rush to get there on time, so i was pretty tired of walking halfway through. that and i didn't have dinner the night before, breakfast, or lunch. just a fine bottle of coke.

Love the green hydrant thingy; is the last picture of poo or fudge?

after viewing your last photo, it looks as though you are a Georgia O'Keeffe follower

I especially like the thoughtful placement of a tea bag on the hydrant.

i'm going to say that the last picture is some sort of dirt or oil. def not poo, fudge, or other uh...things.
joe, the tea bag is quite oddly placed. but that's just the way it was.
