Curiously Addictive

POST #    890

Yesterday afternoon, I opened up a package of Altoids Apple Sours, which were quite delicious. Almost too delicious. Is it possible that Callard and Bowser coat their products with cocaine to make them more addictive? Hmm. Well, obviously not. But my tin of Apple Sours is getting very close to empty. I tend to like popping Altoids and other mints like they were ... uh, candy...

Maybe it's the fact that they are sour contributes to the addictiveness. I like sour candy, be it gummy or non-gummy, but probably not as much as mints and the such. On cross country trips, I used to buy large bags of starlight mints and just pop them as I drove from to and from Michigan. Yum!

Speaking of mints, you left your altoids tin in the rental car in LA when you left. I took them with me, and since I'm not as addicted to them as you are, there are still plenty left. I could always return them to you when I fly to NYC next week - I'm sure you've had trouble surviving without them the past few months! Haha.

yes, they are great! that reminds me of a chris rock bit i saw when he was at MSG last month relating how great krispy kreme donuts are. he was saying how they're so great that if krispy kreme were to announce that their secret ingredient was crack, people totally wouldn't be surprised, instead, they'd say, "crack? yeah? well, that makes sense" you had to be there. mmmm krispy kreme.
