I love me some cheesecake. It's my favorite cake, even though it's not your typical cake. In today's NY Times, there is a take on the best cheesecake in New York. I'm happy to say that Eileen's Special Cheesecake, which is my favorite, made the list of seven places that the writer of the article deemed the best cheesecakes in New York. (It should be noted that Junior's didn't make the list.) Eileen's is described as, "ethereally light, and not too sweet." I want a piece right now!
If anyone here wants to take a trip to Eileen's let me know - we'll go. If you're coming in from out of town, let me know - I'll take you. I'm always down to eat one more piece of her cheesecake.
