It's Like a Birthday Gift for 6 Months

POST #    806

Because Krispy Kreme loves me so much - or is it because I love Krispy Kreme so much - they are re-releasing the key lime pie doughnut!! This just makes me ecstatic. I love key lime pie and I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts, so this is great! Unfortunately, it's only from March-August, but that's 6 months of key lime pie doughnut goodness.

That said, I'll probably end up having it two times.

For those of you that are wondering, pumpkin spice will be offered the other 6 months of the year and caramel kreme crunch will be offered year round.

And why is it a birthday gift? Because my birthday is this Saturday. Feel free to buy me a gift.

hmm, these sounded kinda good to me until i read y'all's comments... guess i'll just hold out for the pumpkin spice, that sounds pretty delish...

janelle, you have to at least give it a try. unless you don't like key lime pie. but really, that would just be insanity.

thanks for the Not Safe For Work donut photos.

While I may take your suggestion and try a key lime pie donut, it violates my rule of avoiding superdesserts, or desserts made by combining two separate desserts. I've found that superdesserts are normally less than the sum of their parts.

Tien, I couldn't find anything on your Amazon wish list I thought you would really like, so I got you this instead:

Will I get a thank you note?
(smiley face)

yikes. that's not a pretty looking book. i guess if you get it for me, you'll get a thank you note (or email)...albeit somewhat begrudgingly.

He would totally like Civilization III. It's awesome. Start playing and you don't need to leave the house for weeks at a time.

Posted by: Linus at March 4, 2004 3:25 PM

yeah, i hardly get out enough as it is, i'm not sure civ III would help that. and i already have sim city to blow my time with.
