Sichuan Hot Pot

Last night, we continued to work down Rachelle's things to do list (we had Peter Luger's before) by having Sichuan hot pot at Wu Liang Ye. Sichuan food in general is notorious for being spicy and their hot pot is no different. Since not everyone was down for the hotness, we requested that the pot be split into hot and mild. Hot pot is essentially a pot of boiling broth that you put various uncooked food items into. It was delicious. Both the spice and the temperature of the food got to me a few times while eating, but it was great. (The spice will get me a couple more times over the next few days too, if you know what I mean.)

Looks fab, guys. Wish I was there, but instead, I was witnessing firefighters go to Per Se's rescue.
