Haircut It Is

POST #    705

Hmmm.

Bowing to pressure from almost everyone I know, I finally got a haircut. It's pretty much the exact same hairstyle as before, but a tad shorter. And no, I didn't get it cut for Chinese New Year, which is this Thursday, January 22nd. It's Chinese tradition to get your hair cut before the new year, so you can begin the new year with a fresh start.

See previous length of hair in the post about that great scarf.

I just happened upon your sight while doing a search for Tasty D-light- it must be in one of your posts somewhere. I was searching for it because I saw it on tv, and I haven't had it since summertime and I always wondered what the heck that stuff was made of. I still haven't found out.

Anyway- this is a really entertaining site. I really like the scarf and all of your pictures. I love discovering new restaurants- I live in the NYC area too- that rice place seems silly, I want to check it out some time.

Anyhow this is a fun blog to read.

hi heather, thanks for all the compliments.

i was just checking out tasti d'lite's website and they seem to be quite elusive regarding what their product actually is. i think it's some sort of ice cream product, and they have ice cream pies and cakes, but they don't seem to call their product ice cream anywhere else on the site. it's just an "all natural frozen dessert" with less calories than ice cream. but for all we know, all natural could still be crap. i guess it could also be a marketing gimmick because ice cream is associated with being unhealthy.

anybody else have any ideas about this?
