POST #    548

A chocolate cupcake with a buttercream sunflower, from Cupcake Cafe.

Today's NY Times has an article on cupcakes in New York. What more can you ask for? Do not read the article or watch the audio slide show if you are craving cupcakes, you will probably go insane. If you aren't craving them, you will after you read. The cupcake revolution in New York which was started by the Cupcake Cafe and grew with the opening of the Magnolia Bakery, which now sells about 3,000 cupcakes a day, and $40,000 a week from the sale of cupcakes. Man, now I really want a cupcake.

I work around the corner from the cupcake cafe. They have insane sweet potato glazed donuts.
