My Aunt and Her Rabbits

POST #    470

Sweet Sixteen is a rabbit?!?

About a week ago, Audrey (by way of Lynn and yes, that Audrey), sent me a link about rabbits. Just seeing the link made me think, "hmm...Betty Chu. That name sounds familiar." Well, low and behold, the reason it sounded familiar is because it's my aunt's site. I knew she was a rabbit breeder and had champion rabbits, but I had no idea that she had a she had a website too. We're not really that close, since she's in California and since she's a Notre Dame alum.

Sweet Sixteen, my aunt's rabbit, has quite a resumé. It won best in show 12 times, best of breed 20 times, and won best in show at the American Rabbit Breeders Association National Convention. This was the apparently the first time an angora won best in show at that convention. Seeing this site reminds me of the great movie Best In Show, despite the movie being about dog shows.

Yeah!! I was gonna say, those pictures are going to give me nightmares. It's like something out of a weird, parallel universe. Ugh. The other photos aren't much better. I guess I ain't a fan of the angora rabbits (except in my sweaters).
