a cheesesteak shop just opened up in my neighborhood. i stopped in tonight to take a look, and it looked semi-authentic, with the grill. i'll have to give it a try tomorrow. with my memories of philly still fresh, i should be able to compare the authentic philly cheesesteak and the new york facsimile (hopefully, a reasonable one). fortunately (or not, depending on how you look at it), i'll be moving home soon.
