who would have thunk it?

POST #    297

navarre? not 4 years ago.

i don't think any michigan fan would have thought john navarre would still be leading the football team after one year, let alone four years. he has come quite a long way, but still needs some work. i remember cursing him several times during his career.

this is the article in the image about navarre and this is about the big 10.

In my mind, Navarre still sucks. He will never win a game for us. I just hope he doesn't lose any games for us this year.

I think Navarre must have said something mean about John's mom or something! Anyway, I agree that Navarre has struggled at times. But his junior year was much better than Brady or Griese's. Remember - Griese lost 4 games that year and Brady 3, and their stats weren't nearly as good as JN. And Navarre deserves a lot of credit for the win over Florida.

Obviously, he needs to step up even more this year - we must beat ND and OSU. I think he'll have a great year, but if not he will deserve all of the criticism that John T. gives him!

I agree wholeheartedly with Justin. JT, you have been a Navarrre Hater all 4 years. If we lose to the Fuckeyes this year, all of your criticisms of him are valid. If we win, then you will have to officially become a Navarre Penis Sucker.

Navarre is not the great roll out qb that michigan needs. He has zero mobility and a tendacy to throw picks in high pressure situations. He has no speed and questionable accuracy. I believe Jason Avant has saved Navarre some critisism because Avant has made some nice catches. Any NFL team who picks Navarre would be wasting a pick.

If i could just see him, touch him, i'd love to just tell him your the stuff that my nightmares are made of, its like a bad dream that always starts out with a great beginnning but it eases into a typical terrible subpar morbid performace.
Somebody need to take this monster out of his misery, help save me from the unending errant pass, save me from the grotestic hands of his underserving division 1 odd ball feet, can't you see I'm diein, were diein, Michigan's diein at the hands of this oversized, good for nothin, non talented blob of a hick from wisconsin.......

The curse of #16 continues. At least it will be over by Jan 2, 2004.

I can't believe this bum is still playing, he is the stuff our nightmares are made of. could he stare at his targets anymore in advance? any defense that doesn't pick off navarres sorryass pass's at least 3 times a game could be beaten by the back up. he's 6ft6 and he gets pass's tipped at the line????????? what the hell

Finally, a page where we can all come together to console one another that we have been stuck with a subpar quarterback for 3 years. The cries are loud, everyone knows it, except one, and that is Lloyd Carr. Does anyone have an explanation of why Navarre still not only plays, but gets complimented game after game by Carr? Has anyone looked at this Heisman trophy canditate's numbers, he ranks below 50th in every major area, passing yards, TD's, completions, etc. Sadly, so sadly, the best we can hope for is an injury or at worst, till Jan 2, 2004 as was mentioned above. A moment of silence for another talented Michigan team that will underachieve because of a subpar quarterback. Where are the winners of the past, like Brady and Greise, Collins....

Navarre has silenced everyone on here. A win over the Luckeyes, Big Ten champs & headed for the Rose Bowl baby!

You all should be kissing John's ass!! He put up with you fucks for 4 + years and only one person had the balls to give John credit!! Here in Wisconsin we would kill for a QB like John. Not only di Michigan get an outstanding QB but also an outstanding person!! Who else would go to a childrens hospital and remember some of the kids he saw last time! Not many atheletes would sign autographs at an away game when family and friends have been waiting patiently to see him!! Kiss my ass and his ass!!
