an overlooked feature?

POST #    283

during college, i remember riding in my friend dan's car for the first time. it was a mazda 626 (pre zoom zoom zoom commercials) and it had this feature that i thought should be in every car, but i've only seen it in the 626. the vents in the center console for the a/c and heat rotated. this feature could be turned on and off and when off, the vents would function like vents in all other cars. i don't understand why, in this day of increased automation features in cars, this one has not made it into more cars. i sit here flummoxed.

to this day, i have never seen this feature in any other car, including any other mazda. i too am flummoxed. it can't be that difficult/expensive to put in, can it? my favorite part, no matter what position the 2 vents were in, when you pressed the "swing" button, they would automatically line up.

what were you doing at work on a sunday? don't you have to go to church or something?
