Very cool. Love the ledge over that door. You could put something really cool up there. As for my sons room....all done. I put pics up on my blog. I just need to find a few things for the walls. Let me know what you think. :)

not sure which ledge you are talking about, but the one in the living room has the water heater in it (crappy location, i know) and we are thinking of putting a unit for the central air on top of it and just building that closet to the ceiling. the triangular ledge will be built out for a walkway to the loft study area that will be over the kitchen. the plan is to replace the existing stairs with a spiral staircase.

I was referring to the first pic taken. That ledge above the door. Is that your water heater??? Wierd. hee hee. Anyway, cool apt. By the way... I was looking for an old wooden oar like off a row boat. Any ideas still?

yeah, totally strange that the water heater is in the corner.

wooden oar...hmm, i like the rowing oars better, but you can probably call a local place that rents boats and stuff like that to see if they have any old oars that they don't want.
