i don't really like biscuits

POST #    267

in general, i feel like biscuits are too buttery, which is odd, because i like bread and i like butter. in combination, i usually love them.

tonight, i went to watch the movie seabiscuit with my friend amy. now, this is quite possibly the most hyped movie all summer, even the matrix reloaded was less hyped. with coverage on all the networks as well as all over espn, you would think that harvey weinstein was behind it or something. one could also say that this is the "feel good movie of the year." i mean, what's not to love? underdog horse goes from being a claims horse to the best horse in the world while captivating people all over the nation.

i love watching horses race, so it wasn't hard for me to like this movie, and there is definitely a bond that is made between the audience and the characters in the movie. a job well done by director gary ross (big and pleasantville). my only issue was that it might have been a tad long.

for a more detailed and more critical review, read the sports guy's column here.

it should be noted that when i came home, i had to pee like a racehorse (pun totally intended).

You don't know me but I read Rachelles blog who's a friend of Aj's...blah blah, I haven't seen the movie yet but I did go to opening day of the races a couple weeks ago at Del Mar, CA. It was so much fun. First time I have ever been. :)
