lets see...in my neverending quest for tasty food (we were actually on a quest for other stuff), we drove around last night. while driving, we drove past a krispy kreme which had the "hot doughnuts now" sign lit, so i had to stop there.

so i cross the street, which is quite dangerous in sandals and in california, and walk into the store. after i enter and look at the doughnuts on the conveyor belt, i am promptly handed a free doughnut that is nice and hot. it was sooo good. as good as all the other ones i've had, but it seemed even better because it was free. i dont think i've experienced this in new york - but this is probably a good thing because they are giving away all my profits (i'm a shareholder - i believe in the product, so i own its stock). after eating the free doughnut and their doughnut of the month, which was also delicious.

after our doughnuts, we went to in-n-out burger which capped off an evening of tasty food. i'm getting hungry thinking about all this. i think i'm going to have a krispy kreme now...yum!
