so i'm leaving for san diego on thursday by truck!  its going to take me several days to get there (our target is next monday).  this really really sucks.  originally, i was going to have to travel both legs of the trip, but it seems that someone else will do the return trip which is great news for me.  the weather in san diego doesnt seem quite as warm as i thought it might be though.  why am i going, you ask?  for the american institute of architects (aia) trade show of course...for those of you that are into that sort of stuff, daniel libeskind will be there as part of a panel discussing the future of the design industry (snore...)
